return to main page Almond Classifieds Membership Features   If you need membership features and password protected classifieds services (placing ads, viewing ads details, sending private mail) you have to purchase additionally a special membership module. This module allows you to add the following new features to your classifieds service: Admin can set up password protection for the following services (members only service):      - placing new ads;      - viewing ads details pages;      - sending private mails. To get access to the following services users have to sign up and become members: Membership signing up can be free or fee based (with on-line credit card processing); More details about fee based sign up on-line Optional activating membership account by clicking on special link in welcome message that is sending to members' e-mail. ( this feature can be useful for verification members' e-mails when free membership is set up ); Admin has the ability to create/edit/delete manually membership accounts via web based interface; Admin can browse membership database and search members by special fields; Admin can also inactivate some members' accounts for some time; Special form fields for on-line membership subscribing can be set up; Admin has access to list of members' contact e-mails for using in main list software; In the membership database admin can use special links to browse all ads of each member; If some members place more than one ad, on the second page of of his ads a special link "browse all ads placed by member 'nickname' " appears; by clicking on this link user can browse all ads posted by this member to different categories; If sending private mails is password protected, then a mail receiver will be notified about nickname of a member who sent this message; For login/password verifications cookies are used; Forgot membership login/password function; login info will be sent to members' contact e-mail (if account with such contact e-mail exists in the membership database). Admin ca set up max number of ads allowed to place for each member per some time period per category. This feature is included to avoid ad spamming. Demo with Membership Abitilties:   In our demo , the membership options are set up for the following categories: Computer Software     Web Design     Networking       For these categories placing ads, viewing ads details, sending privacy mails are password protected. Membership "Sign Up" link appears when you try to enter into password protected area ( e.g. on "place ad" link in the category ). For category Computer Software your membership login/password become active as soon as you sign up; for category Web Design your membership login/password become active after you click on the activating link in the welcome e-mail sent to your e-mail address that you specified in sign up form; for category Networking your membership login/password become active after approving your membership information by admin;   You can also try our Demo 2 which has the same classifieds options as demo (categories Computer Software   Web Design   Networking   have membership features ). But we give you access to admin area to try admin abilities and admin web interface for maintaining membership database. Admin can add new members, edit/delete members profiles, activate/inactivate membership accounts, delete non-activated accounts, browse ads posted by each member, print members e-mail list for using in mail list programs.
